  1. There should be an API call to allow a unique code to be generated in RingCentral that can be displayed on our website to certain logged in customers. When a customer calls our phone number and selects a certain extension, this code will be required as a password. The code should be viable for, say 5 mins.

  2. If I have to two companies sharing an instance, I would like to have the company setup, two or more sites in the company then allow the site name to show up in the app for each site.

  4. Our customer wants to be able to include via the "notes" field : the person's name , extension and email within their business contacts
    When adding contacts via RC app , on the notes field of edit contact they want to be able to save the details like this example below:
    Test name ext 101 - test@gmail.com
    Test name ext 102 - test@gmail.com
    Test name ext 103 - test@gmail.com
    Test name ext 104 - test@gmail.com

    But it does not let him separate each details per line instead it'll go as one line like as example below:
    Test name ext 101…

  7. With MITEL, was able to do conference call with multiple people that allows more than 3 participants. When switched to RingCentral, can only do up to 3 people including the initiator. With RingCentral, call the first person, hit conference button, dial the second person, then hit the conference button again to join. Then, after this conference button disappears and there is even no option to add more person in the call.

The cover page generated by RingCentral contains crucial transmission details (sender info, recipient info, date/time, subject, number of pages) that aren't always fully replicated in the same format on the basic status confirmation report. The users want proof of what was sent, including the RingCentral's generated cover-page details. We currently receive fax status confirmation through email, would it be possible to include the server's generated cover page along with the transmission confirmation status report from our sent faxes?

  15. It would be greatly beneficial for us to have the option to display the user’s direct number in the "Forwarded To" field of the call log when receiving calls through the RC App.

    Currently, when a user—who only uses the RC App—receives a call, the system defaults to showing the main number under "Forwarded To." This can lead to confusion and makes it difficult to identify the intended recipient directly.

    We believe having the ability to show the user’s direct number instead would greatly improve clarity and call tracking.

  16. We have a number of people who can do email to fax for a specific extension. As it is, when someone sends a fax via email, they do not get a notification of the fax transmission results. We do not want all of the email to fax users get all fax transmission results, just for the ones they send.

  17. I finally got they Poly phones plugged in at my remote restaurant. I have an IVR set up & I have all the prompts set up but I cant find where to set it to USE this menu when someone calls.
    the phone # for this remote restaurant is 317-548-0749. it should go to the IVR Menu called 3141 Menu. then if they press 3 it should ring the physical phone at the restaurant.

    Summary:

    caller dial the user number route call to IVR when caller press key press 3 it should route back the call to the number dialed…
