CNAM feature for Canada
We would like to use the CNAM feature for Canada outbound calls. Currently this is not an option.

I can't describe how embarrassing it is as a Ring Central partner to have our client bring us a legitimate complaint about how their call display does not show up properly when they call their customers, investigate the RC portal and see that we have appeared to set the outbound call display correctly, to then contact partner support and be told that it is because RC doesn't care enough about their Canadian customers to make this feature available. The end result, tell your customer that there is no way to update their outbound call display so their customers have no idea who is calling when they call. In the year 2024... Makes us look so stupid and damages our credibility with the customer...

It's unbelievable that Ring Central has this feature for other regions but not for Canada. Makes absolutely no sense.
Please fix this ASAP!

I believe that RingCentral US is not interested in their small Canadian base of customers. I had a number with another provider that was able to properly label our CallerID name. Why is it that RIngcentral now messes this up when we port in the number to them and then tells us there is nothing they can do about it. In their KB they list a very short excuse with no rationale. Now I spent 10 seconds googling this matter and RIngCentral in Canada which is owned by Telus has a KB with an answer. Why can't RIngcentral US learn from Ringcentral Canada about this issue. I think we all know this answer. Maybe time to switch to RIngcentral Canada. Not happy with the lame answers given.

In today's world, Caller ID being displayed consistently, is an absolute necessity, as it provides instant recognition for the receiver of the call. Recognition creates instant credibility and higher rates of Calls Answered. A telephone system is only useful if we can speak with our customers!

The CNAM feature providing consistent Caller ID information is absolutely critical to any business that relies on outbound telephone contact as a means of doing business. The Caller ID feature significantly boosts the rate of Calls Answered.

It is a vital item our company would like to have the option to modify the CNAM records. When we procure new lines it tends to default to the account holders name (mine) rather than the business name. This confuses recipients when receiving calls.

The CNAM feature is very important and necessary for my business. When our calls are accompanied by our firm's name on the recipient's caller ID, it establishes our identity and limits any confusion. This recognition adds credibility to our interactions and ensures that our clients perceive us as a legitimate entity. There are several spam and scam calls coming in, and therefore, having our name displayed reduces the likelihood of our calls being ignored or blocked, which directly improves out contact rates and efficiency. The CNAM feature needs to be implemented as soon as possible. Thank you.
