  1. Whenever I connect to a video call in my RingCentral App I get a green message that says "You're the only person here. Click "invite" below to add more people"Sometimes I don't want to invite anyone, and I just want to record a short in-person meeting but I don't want anyone else connected. But since the message stays on the screen until you invite someone else, it blocks my view of what I am recording. When RingCentral used Zoom as your service provider for this, this message was not there, but once you switched away from zoom this has been…

  3. Currently, this is an admin only function, where polling results can only be generated and downloaded by admins, despite the instructions relayed here. This currently makes it so users have to come to admins to gather results for their own data from their meetings. While we can have gatekeeper personnel to work around this, it doesn't make sense to not have this be more granular to a standard user level.

  5. I have a couple of user's who have limited bandwidth, but need to join RCV meetings. Would it be passible to leave it to the discretion of the participant, to disable video from other attendees, and only enable it when required. Like presentations, etc.. Currently I believe that it's only the host/moderator that has this capability. With everyone working from home these days they have the need to meet more online, but some are in locations where ISPs cap the usage/month. Video can be a bandwidth killer.

  6. For long meetings, it would be cool to have a feature to exchange the photo (or initials) with a Be Right Back (BRB) status or Away from Keyboard (AFK). This could allow us to step away for a minute or two without disrupting a meeting.

  8. This is a useful feature I found in MS Teams. When my internet bandwidth is low, I turn off my own video. I found the option to not receive video of other participants and use it often. In most cases, I don't need to see faces (online training or webinars, for example) and it is a waste of bandwidth (especially for countries with very slow internet)

  9. In ordering the participants' video displays on my screen, it would be much more useful to have all the participants sharing video first, followed by the ones who aren't.

  10. during or following the meeting it would be useful to get a list of attendees that joined the video meeting. This is useful to avoid roles calls or in very large meetings would enable you to contact only the people who attended, rather than the invited list of attendees.

  11. Sharing just a small item or part of a document in chat is a time saver. Currently. I have to open snippet app, snippet item, copy it, then paste it in RC chat window. Would be wonderful to have your own screen clipping tool in chat.

  12. I saw someone requested the option to change audio to "original sound" for meetings and I'd love to have something similar for Webinar. We are using Webinar to host events and have a piano player. The audio on Webinar tries to hide background noise, which actually makes concert music come out more choppy. Please consider adding the option of "original sound" so that live music performances on Webinar will sound better!

  15. Sometimes, I don't wanna hear participants from the meeting for a while, because I should talk to a person from another chat/meeting, And when I try to say something to another chat, I can be confused w/ a talking from previous meeting. Also accidentally the talking from the previous meeting could be passed through my external speakers to a new meeting. Also It would be nice to add a voice control panel (from 0 to 100%) to manage the audio level for the peculiar meeting

  16. Launching an active RingCentral Meetings from meeting link contained within the invitation launches a browser prior to launching the installed RingCentral Meetings desktop application. The inclusion of promotional / marketing material on the browser to existing RingCentral customers is an annoyance, and counterintuitive

  18. It's always an interesting experience to describe to some people how to share their sceen. If there was a way for us, the host, to prompt the end user to share their screen, that would be awesome

  19. Hello. Our executives using RingCentral Meetings Outlook plugin are requesting that the template be restored to the way it was until recently, where the meeting URL has a space after it. This has Outlook show the URL as a clickable hyperlink even while composing. I spoke with Customer Support about this, and they instructed me to submit a feature request here for the developers. Note: The Outlook add-in for RingCentral (Unified) does not have this issue, and still inserts the space after the URL. Thank you. ~Andrew
