    Our phones are setup so that all calls forward to a specific extension (e.g. user 1) and then a ring group simultaneously rings all other extensions. If user 2 picks up the call, other users' deskphones do not show that user 2 is on the phone. If user 2 makes an outbound call, all phones correctly show that user 2 is on the phone. Would like deskphones to correctly show the user status independent of the origination of the call.

    How important is this to you?

    SMS for Call Queues is coming-- as in if a text is sent to a call queue number, there will be an inbox available for one agent to respond to those SMS.


    I know the core of this request is to have a shared SMS inbox where multiple people can send and receive SMS from the inbox. Our product teams are aware of this ask, but I do not have more information about if/when this segment of the ask is coming.
