  1. Distinguish calling number between RingCentral and personal number, they would like to have visibility on whether the call is coming from the RingCentral app or Personal number that easily to Identify if they are a way on their Mobile phone.

  4. sometimes I don't hear the message alert sound, for newly arrived messages, just because I am not at my desk all the time, I have to open the rincentral app, and look at the message section to realize there are unread messages sent by users, it has happened me several times that I realize this after several days messages have been sent. I would be really help full to set reminders, either pop-up message or task bar, that there are "unred" messages still pending to be addessed.

  5. I created a custom fax template and applied the 'notes' section to be pulled in. However when I add text to the notes section when sending a fax, it looses the formatting (i.e. Enter to a new line). I called and spoke with support who confirmed it is not related to settings or anything else they can see. And to add more context, the text and formatting work fine in the notes section of any of the standard templates. I tested this with support as well. This is something we really need resolved for our Faxing needs.

  6. Right now, when soemone calls our main line or one of our direct lines, we are required to upload a 'greeting' or 'intro' before the line starts to ring. This is great for our main line, however, we think that there should be an option to remove it when people call our direct lines. Instead, we would prefer if the direct lines would just ring as a normal phone would before connecting with the person on our team. The reason being that when someone calls a direct line expecting to immediately get the person that they are trying to reach…

  12. Add the ability to flip a call that originates on Desk phone to the RC app on my mobile device so we can continue the call if we need to leave the office. Support advises that currently flip is one-way, from Mobile to Desk phone, but doesn't work in reverse.

  15. Will be great if we can have the option to receive the issues reported in the Ring Central status portal in an email notification. This morning and issue was reported in the staus portal and I couldn't find the option to receive those notifications.

  16. On our old Avaya phone system, employees could press 1 to skip the VM message and go straight to leaving a voicemail. On the new ACO cloud, there is no way to skip the voicemail greeting. I have employees who are requesting to skip other employees VM messages by pressing a number and going straight to leaving a message.

  17. Example: User A was working for us, but then left for another opportunity. User B joined the company. Instead of creating a new User we changed the name of User A to User B. So all the messaging History is still there. Wanting to remove all history for the user.

  19. When we phone out, our location on people's caller ID shows us located in a different city and province than where we are actually located. This is becoming a problem as people are sensitive to possible scams and/or want to deal with local companies only. We have to explain that it's VOIP and when we signed up this was how the number was assigned but people are skeptical. Also, some won't answer our calls because they aren't local. There should be a way to change the number location to reflect where we actually are!
