This is a much bigger request than the 8 votes showing since 1/22. Please research and combine in order to escalate this overall request.

When we unwittingly acquire a telephone number that was previously someone's fax, and have already published it, we are deluged with "Messages" when the phone and fax is enabled at the TN level in the portal. The only other option is phone only, in which case, we get fax tones when we answer the ringing phone, or in the voicemail if we don't answer. Literally deluged. This should be a feature setting in the Roles to turn off fax for greatest efficiency in spinning up new users, but at the user level would be acceptable too.

Please allow for the admin to turn on or off the ability to send and receive faxes. This will eliminate wasteful incoming and outgoing faxes when not needed. And it gives administrators greater control of the account and it's users.

Having an option to temporary disable a user ext or dedicated fax number fax function.
