  1. While out of the office, not everyone calls to hear we are out of the office but I always come back to multiple text messages. If an out of office feature could be added when we get a text, it would be extremely helpful!

  2. Some of our company applications that we use utilize shortcut keys such at F6 or F8. We would like to be able to change this at a company level so each user isn't having to manually do this as part of ringcentral onboarding.

  3. It would be nice to have an option for certain lines or all lines to have a feature where it will send a message saying the message/sms has been recived. Or allow for a custom reposnse to be sent out to the user.As a company where we get texts to our main line this would help as we do not reply to the via text, we then use email. By having this it would allow for the person sending the message to lknow that it has eben received.

  4. this is currently not a feature for ring central for any of the ring central product lines. I work in an outpatient community clinic . it would be very helpful so that clients are aware when they text if provider is away from office or off work. this way they don't have to wait for response and be able to contact someone else for faster service. please update me if this is possible in the future. thanks!

  7. It will benefit the business where in customer's are not only reaching them through call but also sending SMS. It will also notify their customers through text if they are not available at the time. It should work like the auto reply and forwarding in email.

  8. Today you are required to use the RC app to put all of your devices into DND. Users should be able to press the DND button on the physical endpoint and that status should sync over to the other physical devices or softphones that are assigned to that user. This would make it much easier from an end-user perspective, especially those that don't want to bring up the app to enable DND.

  9. There should be an ability to have call waiting for queue calls as using an IVR with set queues is the easiest way of having an overall system and using simultaneous rings for the same phone number that's a direct line vs using a queue for the IVR is a laborious set up process and tends to complicate a phone system for businesses and the customers.

    Hello all, wanted to share this video with you, to see if it matches your needs!It’s only a minute long, but note that there is no audio. In this video, a call queue member “SZ” receives and answers a call from the Test 1 call queue.After about 10-15 seconds, you’ll see a call pop-up in the Call Queue Pickup section of the HUD. This is a 2nd call that “SZ” then answers from Test 1 call queue, which puts the first call on hold.If this meets your needs, please let us know.   11. We frequently deal with family members in different time zones and even different countries. So we don't want to send a message during our business hours and wake people up. Then they can respond during their day time hours.

  16. As a small business we have two extensions, each with their own contacts list. The lists are exclusive and not shareable or mergeable. We need one main contacts directory only and would love this option.

It would be nice to be able to have a contact list that is available to all employees so that when a customer calls, their information shows on the screen or so that when an employee would like to call a customer, they have access to their contact information. It seems the work-around for it right now is for the person that creates the contact to either export that contact and send it to all employees for them to import or email the contact info to all employees.
