Ability to be able to delete historical messages since the Manage data retention policy will only apply to messages from the day it was set up and moving forward.

Through Ring Central, there are two ways to message. The Text tab and the Message tab (located at the top on the left bar). I am looking to be able to delete messages. Sending photos through the Message (not Text) tab has been useful as it keeps the quality of the photo (text does not), but I am unable to delete messages (at all). I believe that is a necessary function when it comes to communication. :)

This is absurd. I'm paying $660/month for a service that we run our company off of and I cant bulk delete team messages? Cmon. The technology clearly exists... step your game up. This is a joke.

Any sensible app would allow a "select" function to pick some, all, or a range of voicemails to delete. It's ridiculous to go through click hell to do it one at a time.

Customer wants to delete multiple DM's but there's no select all option under more he says he wants to delete DM from his work especially if the task sent via DM is already done

Seriously looking to move over to Zoom for VOIP if this issue is not timely resolved. It looks like RC has known about this for YEARS and has yet to move on it. This company is getting bloated and moving like Jabba the Hutt. :(

Hello,Would like to suggest to add an upgrade the system so that users can delete direct messages in bulk. Deleting messages one by one can be time consuming and inefficient. Thank you

The fact that I am having to waste a morning deleting over 200+ individual messages in the RC app because I recycled an extension for a new hire is RIDICULOUS. Why is this not a thing?? I can't even understand the logic of this not being added at the onset of the app. Unacceptable.

The process when an extension is currently part of an IVR Menu is as follows;





1. Go to IVR Menus and change the extension option for the number you are working with to another extension. Repeat for any other menus. 


2. Return to Users and disable the user.  


3. Reset and Assign New User


4. Create the New User


5. Go back to IVR Menus and changed back to the old extension numbers. 





The BEST SOLUTION I would suggest is to add a RESET MESSAGES option when using the reset and assign button in the above process.

need to have the ability to delete multiple messages in a text message at one time, not have to delete each individual message! Having too many messages that don’t go through bcuz your mobile app is not functional.

Can't believe this doesn't exist yet. Most other messaging apps have it, everybody needs it, and it's got to be trivial to program.

There needs to be a way to bulk delete Direct and SMS messages without going one by one to delete each message.

It is beneficial to everyone. You should be able to delete message threads as necessary not just messages you sent
