We have extension under user with number as Receptionist and that extension has ring all together/ringgroups that when the number under that extension was dialed it will ring all under the ring group. And what we want if extension number was dialed alone, the call will ring only to that extension not the ring group under that extension

  3. A feature should be developed with the RingCentral software that enables all of the Admin Users on a RingCentral account to be able to access and add to (if necessary) the same text threads with customers, as well as the customer-facing call logs/voicemail messages.

  6. The customer has implemented a Cloud Connector Directory Integration (CCDI) which includes an underlying SIP trunk to allow ext-to-ext type calls between RC Users and legacy-Cisco-PBX Users. The Cisco phone is not registering to RC. He is trying to park a call on RC and then retrieve it from the Cisco phone behind the Cisco PBX on the other side of the CCDI SIP trunk.

    Currently, this is not supported as the call park functionality is only between RC users.

  8. We have SSO turned on. Most users are on a chromebook. We need to access the app glip. We are looking for an option to sync the log in however it is setup to log in first in RingCentral not sync even using the option for SSO. The glip app does not always work unless we connect to Ring Central first -
    then we can connect to the app.

    We want to be able to add user contact lines to Common Area Phones via the Admin portal for speed dialing. Currently, we have to do this manually on the Common Area Phone, which can be problematic when the phone is in an area that is not readily accessible. Thank you!

    Our organization has many Polycom VVX 350 and 450 phones, adding more daily. Branding our phones using a custom background with a logo has been painful. When uploading it manually via USB drive, the phone will sometimes take it, and when it does, it will not let us change the background unless we factory reset the phone. We have tried other methods via phone web view, such as uploading a wallpaper from a computer or setting a URL link to our web server. Another way we have tried is by modifying a config file and uploading it. The results…

  11. Even customer added a direct line customer want to show the primary number on admin portal because the normal behavior is when you added a direct number it will show the direct number and not the Primary number of the user EXT.

  15. Customer is requesting for the IVR system to read back the numbers by itself and not convert it to an alphabet. For example, 9-0-9. It should be read by IVR as "nine-zero-nine" not "nine-O-nine".

  18. On the fax transmission result email, "View this message on your RingCentral App", when you click the hyper link, it's not taking me to the message but just a download page for the RingCentral app even if I have it downloaded or the web version is open on the browser.

    It would be best if it would actually route me to the fax I sent.

  19. I am trying to figure out if it is possible to change the default settings for a user without having to apply a template. For example, I want all new users outbound called id settings to be set to their device number. Is this possible without having to apply a template? Like changing the default setting for that role or something similar?

  20. Offer option to silence all notifications outside of work hours (phone, SMS/text, etc). This would be both in the desktop and mobile apps.

    Currently we only have phone settings that allow us to forward calls to voicemail. A similar function for SMS/Text messages or just the ability to silence notifications would be great.
