  1. When you send a new text you now have to type the message before you can see the history of texts with that phone number. Please CHANGE IT BACK to the way it was! When you enter a phone number have it open the text message history and then write the text message.

  2. Request to support deaf users who cannot hear and cannot speak during live RingCentral voice calls. The customer wants the ability to type responses during the call, and for the system to read the text aloud to the hearing person on the other end of the line.

    This feature would allow:

    • Real-time Text-to-Speech conversion of typed messages by the deaf user.
    • Seamless integration with existing captioning/transcription features.
    • The hearing participant to hear the typed messages spoken naturally. Optional voice customization (male/female tone, speed).

    Why This Is Needed:
    - Improves accessibility for deaf and non-speaking users who still need to communicate…

  4. I wanted to make sure that the customer and the other user is properly connected before I leave the call. Currently, when using the app, after I merged the call I cannot leave the line because all the line will get disconnected.

    Please consider feature enhancement, Complete Transfer after merged calls.

  5. Add sessionID or RingEX callID as a parameter option in"Launch an external app or website".
    I like the option to launch an external website, and we already use this in RingCX, we can pass the UII in RingCX to map the call back to the call detail easily using the UII.

    RingEX does not have a similar function since it only allows you to pass customer info like phone # and name. If the agent talks to the customer multiple times it can be more difficult to map it back to the correct call record.

I would like a prompt to say that the customer has entered an invalid extension if they do not hit one of our assigned key presses, and then go back to the ivr menu so they can chose a new key press. it seems customers our entering direct extensions so calls will only ring to that extension specifically even if they are on a call or away from their desk resulting in missed calls or voicemails when other team members are available.

    When calls are transferred to another user, the caller ID displayed on voicemail notifications shows the main line's number instead of the original caller’s number. This leads to confusion when trying to identify the actual caller. It would be beneficial to have a feature that ensures the original caller’s number is displayed in voicemail notifications, even after the call is transferred.

  12. Calls are currently not recorded when the caller ID is set to “Blocked.” Enabling call recording for calls with blocked caller IDs would improve service reliability and ensure comprehensive call logging, supporting quality assurance and compliance efforts.

  13. If the voicemail is extremely short (2 seconds or less), our company occasionally receives bothersome bot calls that leave voicemails of that length. We would like to have an option, either from the user or admin side, to enable or disable this behavior.

  14. RingCentral mobile app should be designed to generate call logs on a user’s personal phone only when the user is actively signed in to the app.

    If the user is not signed in to the RingCentral app, then no RingCentral-related call activity should be recorded in the phone's call log.

  15. We understand that there is a need to contact carriers in order to enable call forwarding from external number to a RingCentral number. However, it would be better if the feature would automatically work once external numbers are added as Substitute Caller ID/Forwarded Numbers without having the need to submit any bills, agreement or contacting the carrier to do it. Hoping the RingCentral can do it in the future on behalf of the customers in order to avoid inconvenience.

There is no option in the Admin Portal to re-allocate the license once the user already has a License, for example, we have 2 types of License which is RingEX License and RingEX License, but once the user already has a RingEX License, we cannot edit/upgrade the license to RIngEX License without deleting the user and creating a new one.

  18. Would like to be able to customize the time out for park. We would like it to have a value of infinity instead of limiting. FYI - The call parking time out is set for 5 minutes but can be increased to 8.5 minutes.
