  1. A way for participants to put in a countdown clock timer if they are stepping away for 5/10 mins of break or another meeting. Will be helpful for long meetings/workshops. Even if someone is joining late, can login and switch-on the timer so that you dont have to hunt him/her down knowing that he has joined and will be available soon. Also useful for office hours like situation where the instructor has stepped away for a break so new person joins in and knows whats going on. Its a Amazon Chime feature currently, I have found it useful.

  3. The request is for a more refined/cleaner virtual background. It would be great if there were a very light soft edge (slight blur) to the Virtual Background edge, so it does not feel quite as harsh.

  4. It would great if after users register for a webinar the reply the service sends is in the format of a calendar invite, not an email.

  5. The RingEX Application has Phone Call history but nothing for Meetings.
There are 2 categories for Video Meetings - Upcoming Scheduled and Recordings.

Since it's not always possible to attend every team meeting, it would be useful to provide users with a complete history of meetings that contain the following information:Meeting detailsText chat transcriptsClosed captioned transcript of speakersVideo & audio recording.
It would also be useful to add this information to the Shelf if the meeting was associated with a messaging team.

All options should have Admin control to enable/disable history and also provide retention time duration.

  6. Currently registration is only allowed for the webinar component and is not featureed for a RingCentral meeting. The value of allowing registration for a meeting allows a teacher to have a class list they can refer to before the class starts - know the audience. Scheduling training using the webinar will not work as breakout rooms are not enabled for webinars and this is a must have feature for training.

  7. For Mac users on the New Outlook, when trying to schedule a RingCentral meeting through the RCM app on desktop, the invitation will populate as an attachment, rather than with the actual details itself. There should be a feature on RCM that's available for the New Outlook, so that the meetings can populate with the actual invitation, rather than as an attachment.

  8. My colleagues recorded the meeting. They posted the link to this recording on Wiki page. I can see the page and the link. But when I open the link - there is only message "Please ask the host for access to this recording"But I have no idea who was the host for this meeting. There should be a button for requesting the access.I logged in RCV. My ID could be sent to the host.No info is required about the host. The host will get a notification and decide - should I get the access or not.

  9. Under "Reports" > "Usage Reports" > "Webinar" it would be nice to be able to check boxes from a series of webinars between a range of dates and generate one Excel document with all the data automatically. Currently reports must be generated one at a time and complied by hand.

  10. Meeting ID should be displayed in the meeting summary. This will help when people join meetings that have a generic name ahead of time, allowing the person to know which meeting was joined so they can communicate with the group. As of right now, the host has to login to v.ringcentral.com, and look at recents to know what the meeting ID was.

  11. RingCentral should be set up so that all participants receive notification the moment they join when a meeting is being recorded. This way they can choose whether to stay on and be recorded or hop off.

  12. Zoom has the ability to "flip" your background so it shows up correctly to viewers. Currently when I upload a picture for a virtual background it shows up backwards.

  13. It would be helpful to be able to add users to a RCV or RCM while on a call. If we could have and add button and it pull up our contacts like a phone call. This is available in MS Teams.

  14. I scheduled a meeting using Google calendar. I invited 12 participants. The invitations went out but none of them could sign up because all of them use the apple iCloud calendar which comes with a Mac. Requiring them all to use the Google calendar whould be OK within a company but not for separate individuals.

  15. Using RingCentral to deliver training, it would be great to set up some sub-chats so that small groups could chat amongst themselves without broadcasting that to the entire group. For example, I have a class of 16 and I want to subdivide them in to 4 groups of 4.

  16. While on a live scheduled RC Meetings with no polls created yet, when the host clicks on Polling to "Add a Question" a new tab would populate, prompting the host to login to service.ringcentral.com to add the polling question there. Instead, there should be a way to create or add a Polling question into a RingCentral Meetings instead having the host to login to service.ringcentral.com, navigate to More > My Meetings > create the poll from there. This feature will benefit the host and the participants by saving more time for the poll to be created.

  17. There should be a template option available for Polling under the Meetings settings in service web. That way, the same polls can be uploaded to multiple RC Meetings. This will save the host of the meeting time when it comes to creating polls for multiple RC Meetings, when the host can just upload the template to the meetings

  19. Collins-mgmt: On the RingCental Meetings app, there's a little drop down menu at the bottom called "More," and when clicking that button you can access multiple features such as "put participants in the waiting room on entry." While I was conducting a meeting the other day I couldn't find this feature and we need it and were using it before. Also, I was unable to click on any participant's phone number or name in order to update the name. Is it possible to add these features to the RingCentral Video app?
