  1. Person who can "schedule on behalf of" should also have the ability to share the recorded video (in addition to the host). Our Executive Assistants can all create meeting on behalf of their Dept Head; and they can record the video; but they cannot "share" said video. Need to be able to also share a recorded video for the Host.

  3. Hello, We are needing to disable the use of Personal Meeting ID's and Lock them much like we were able to to this in RingCentral meetings. We are not wanting our users to have the ability to use PMI's when scheduling a meeting.

If you have someone presenting who isnt familiar with the technology but needs to share screen you may need to be able to request annotation to help steer them toward the right things to click on the screen. showing a pop up that they just have to approve is easier than trying to direct them to the right things to click

  5. Being able to look at data regarding who watches a meeting recording and when is helpful to measure the usefulness of sharing the recordings with staff. I'd recommend requiring individuals to fill out their first and last names to be able to access a recording and providing that data to the meeting organizer along with date of access and the amount of time the individual watched the recording (did they watch the entire thing, only the first 5 minutes, etc.)

  6. Recordings: Have become unusable. Used to be provided as Playbacks for Training and Reference, now the Framerate and Audio is so Compressed it's useless. Add Back In the Ability to Pause and Stop Recordings to make multiple during one Meeting instead of Just "Pause." Add back in Files being Saved Locally instead of only to the Cloud. Compression is too heavy.Screen-Share: AWFUL Framerate. Used to Host Webinars for Training multiple Companies at a time...videos look so bad and Sharing Audio is usually non-functioning making it useless for incredibly practical uses.   7. At times participants unmute themselves and also show themselves on the video when they are actively speaking and participating. After that it is possible that they may not even speak for a long time but they forget to mute themselves and we hear some weird audio from their backgrounds and that can cause interuptions or some fun situations and then someone has to ask them to mute themselves.If there is a setting to auto-mute participants if they have not spoken for 1-2 minutes (Configurable?) that will prevent such situations and a message or some other graphics can be shown on…

  8. For tech-savvy users, it is important to keep files accordingly. For example, many users would prefer to keep C: drive as spacious as possible with all of their apps (excluding system apps) to be on another drive. This also helps the users to have clean and systematic files hierarchy throughout their systems—just as how people would organize their drawers by grouping together similar folders.

  9. When someone leaves the company, and is ultimately disabled or deleted from RC, we find ourselves with an issue when it comes to Meetings. The ownership of the meeting seemingly dies with the user, and then the meeting has to be deleted and recreated. If it isn't, people are getting invalid meeting error messages. When a user is disabled or deleted, it would be wonderful to be prompted to move the ownership of any currently scheduled or recurring meetings to another valid RC user.

  10. It would be helpful if the meeting participants can zoom in and out of the presenter's screen because it helps the participants to read clearly in a part of the presenter's screen and focus on that without telling the presenter to do so. MS Teams has this functionality.

  15. RingCentral Meetings allowed for users to set automatic recording of a meeting at the time that they were scheduling a meeting / creating the meeting for the first time. This would allow the meeting to automatically start recording once the meeting started without the user having to remember to hit the record button. RingCentral Video does not have this feature and many of our staff have become accustomed to having this feature and are forgetting to record their meetings because they are accustomed to it doing this for them. Like Zoom and Skype, when you select a browser window to share, there should be a thick, colored line that should highlight that browser window so you can immediately see which one is actively being shared. This is a basic feature of every other screen sharing desktop app on the market. You need to add this feature to be in line with your competitors.

  19. Currently, there is a pop-up that advises you are a delegate when creating a meeting on someone's behalf that needs to be dismissed before the meeting can be created. Can the pop up box be disabled or allow that feature to not pop up every time, as those who are delegates when creating multiple meetings throughout the day are having to dismiss this box, and results in more clicks and time consumed than the previous version before RC Scheduler.

  20. RCV allows you to enable transcription when it's not being recorded. But the transcription only works if it's being recorded. The system should prompt you to start recording when you enable transcription.
