Play music during video meeting
We would like the ability to add music that all can hear during a team meeting on RC MVP desktop app. We'd like to be able to share a live music stream from YouTube or Spotify or similar services or the ability to play and share music files for all to hear directly from the PC. Without having to share screen and share computer audio.

Display Outbound Call and Call Recording Script Across All App Screens
The customer is requesting a feature enhancement to the RingCentral application that enables the outbound call and call recording compliance script to be persistently displayed across all screens within the application. The customer requires this message to remain continuously visible to all users throughout their use of the platform, not limited to call initiation or active call states, in order to support internal compliance, regulatory requirements, and employee awareness. This enhancement would ensure that all users are consistently reminded of the organization’s outbound calling and call recording policies while navigating any section of the RingCentral application.

Dial by Phone in RCV
We want to have the feature back where we can Dial By Phone invite through RCV. It was a very useful tool and losing it made it hard to adjust with people having to click on the link first before joining

Require Re-Admittance for Participants Rejoining via Personal Meeting ID or Link
Description:
Currently, when using a personal meeting link or personal meeting ID, participants who have previously joined a meeting can rejoin automatically without being admitted, even if the host has locked the meeting.We would like to request a feature enhancement that ensures all participants—regardless of prior attendance—are required to be admitted by the host when rejoining a meeting using the same personal meeting link or ID.
This improvement would enhance meeting security, prevent unintended re-entry, and give hosts full control over who joins each session.

Download button for video summary in-meeting
Currently, transcription and summary materials cannot be generated when a video meeting session exceeds two hours. As a workaround, the meeting host has the option to download the transcript during the meeting, prior to ending the session, using the Download Transcript button.
However, this option is not available for the video summary feature. Video summaries are generated only after the meeting concludes, and if a summary is not generated, there is no alternative way to retrieve it.

Enable Caller ID Name (CNAM) Display on 911 Calls
Our current VoIP setup successfully transmits the Caller ID phone number (ANI) when calling 911; however, the Caller ID name (CNAM) is not displaying to the PSAP.
Local government inspectors now require that emergency calls made from businesses show both:
The Caller ID number, and
The company/Caller ID name
Current Behavior
ANI (phone number) is displayed correctly on 911 calls.
ALI location information is provided.
Caller ID Name (CNAM) does not appear.

show me what i am sharing when i share my screen
I need to be able to see what I am sharing when I share my screen during a presentation. That way I can tell that my audience can see what screen I am sharing and I can also confirm I'm not sharing a screen I don't want to share yet. This ability would also be great to have when using the screen overlay feature so I can see if my head is covering an important part of my screen I am sharing.

Option to disable pop up message to be RingCentral member
the pop-up message inviting a user to become a RingCentral member cannot be removed if they are not part of RingCentral when they are invited to a video meeting. The pop-up is designed to encourage non-members to join the platform.

Remember Custom Names
When a user joins a meeting via telephone, the number is displayed as their identity. This can be edited to display a name, which is fantastic.
It would be awesome if RingCentral could remember the custom name associated with that phone number for future meetings. This would keep the admin from continually changing the names each meeting for repeat participants.

Removal of Full-Screen mode under Gallery View (RCV)
Customer is reporting that seems to be an issue on his end, Double clicking a remote control session on Gallery view is transitioning into full screen view. Double clicking it again returning it to gallery view.

Want to have a voice recognition feature. Want to possibly add it on the account as part of an additional security measure that they have on their account/system.

External click-to-call links for Jupiter/RCV
I would like to propose new feature for Jupiter / RCV.
The main idea of requested functionality is based on former click-to-call service for telephony.
The link will allow external users to make a call to creator's endpoint with no need to install any App / log in.
Link creator will not need to reveal any personal contact information in order to avoid spam / misuse / limit the calls.
