  4. RC EA for MS Teams - Firewall for MSI Deployment

    The end-user doesn't have problems with both the Ring app AND the Teams plugin. The problem isn't installing the app, but specifically after the app is deployed it asks the user to Allow changes to the firewall.

    Do we have any Documentation that shows how to Deploy the Apps without asking the user to Allow changes to the Firewall? The users are prohibited from making changes to the Firewall. Microsoft Defender is blocking the full Deployment, and the Staff do not have admin rights in their Microsoft accounts, so IT has to do an MSI Push.

    Currently, RC app teams have the video call feature to call everyone on that team. To avoid data breach, the customer wanted to have an option to turn this off/on account wide and or user based.

  10. Bring back RingCentral Voicemail that works with Teams

    RingCentral voicemail used to work the Microsoft Teams direct routing. It recently stopped to do so with no warning. This has strained the ease of using RingCentral calling queues with Microsoft Teams. Please bring back the ability to pick and choose between RingCentral voicemail and Teams voicemail.

    It would be great if we had the ability to select between which contacts to be displayed in the embedded app (RingCentral contacts/Partner brands or Microsoft Teams contacts).

    Some users prefer RingCentral/Partner brands Contacts to appear on MS Teams Embedded App or the other way around.

  13. Option to use RingCentral's conference feature in MS Teams

    It would be great if we had the option to use RingCentral's conference feature in MS Teams (Conference, participant, and access codes)

    Currently, we only support Phone, SMS, and Fax in MS Teams Embedded App.

  14. Exclude Guests from MS Teams Company Contact Sync

    Guest accounts (B2B Collabaration Users) in Microsoft Entra ID (previously Azure AD) should not sync along with regular contacts (Members) when using the MS Teams embedded dialer app. At a minimum, there should be an option to include or exclude Members/Guests when syncing Contacts.Many organizations use B2B Collaboration to provide single sign-on to their customers which causes large numbers of user records and it is not normal behavior for apps to sync these records by default when syncing contact records.   15. Sync MS Teams users Direct Routing with out e5 licenses

    As per customer, Assigning E5 Licenses to sync direct routing to RingCentral would not work for them.

    As per support site, each users should have e5 licenses for them to be able to sync each users to the Service portal.

    Customer would like to eliminate the need for E5 license to sync direct routing

  16. MS Teams contacts to display the extension number on the contact list

    "Some users show up with a RingCentral "R" next to their name, and others do not, even though all users have licenses and extensions in RingCentral. The users with the "R" have "sources" for the contact - and only list RingCentral. There are users with both RingCentral AND Microsoft Teams as their "source"

    This changes some behavior in the Teams integration. Users with both Teams and RingCentral "sources" will not display the user's extension in the contact book next to their name; instead, you have to click the user to see their extension."

    Please send articles explaining why we might want to use Microsoft teams with ring central versus it being separate. Also, why SMS are removed when MS Teams Mobile mode is enabled.

    It only shows that current supported OS are:
    Windows 108.1 (64-bit), or later
    macOS 10.153 (High CatalinaSierra), or later

  20. MS Teams presence sync real time

    Sync MS Teams and RingCentral app real time. As of now the syncing is showing delayed of about 2-3 seconds.

    Confirmed that there is a delay between presence sync any improvement for this will be very helpful for us.
