As a company we rely on our Microsoft Teams status (NOT RC) to let staff know our availability and more importantly to route external calls to relevant call queues\voicemails, etc. when unavailable or on a call. We use RC Teams embedded dialer app to make\receive external calls. DND is the only Teams status that sync's across to RC and drops that status into DND which will achieve the desired result of forwarding calls on for answer via call queues etc. I would like to see the following Teams statuses achieve the same thing.   3. Customers deploying the RingCentral embedded app for Microsoft Teams via the Teams Admin Center currently do not receive confirmation or visibility into which groups successfully received the deployment.

    Problem Statement
    When a customer uses the Teams Admin Center to deploy the MS Teams embedded app, the deployment process completes without any success message or indication of which groups have received the app. This lack of feedback makes it difficult to confirm whether the deployment was successful or to troubleshoot any issues.

  8. Hello,
    I'm trying to install the RingCentral for Teams Desktop Plugin for about 80 users (I'm a RingCentral Partner). I see that there's an EXE and an MSI for IT, but the MSI says "Non Auto Update." Can I deploy the EXE Silently since that auto-updates? If so, how?

    Or can I add a switch to the MSI to allow it to auto-update?

  15. The end-user doesn't have problems with both the Ring app AND the Teams plugin. The problem isn't installing the app, but specifically after the app is deployed it asks the user to Allow changes to the firewall.

    Do we have any Documentation that shows how to Deploy the Apps without asking the user to Allow changes to the Firewall? The users are prohibited from making changes to the Firewall. Microsoft Defender is blocking the full Deployment, and the Staff do not have admin rights in their Microsoft accounts, so IT has to do an MSI Push.
