An error occurred while saving the comment Jeff commentedAbsolutely. This can be extremely useful, since we use wireless headsets on the softphone app and when the battery gets low it would be nice to be able to transfer the caller to the desk phone.

Coming later in 2023, users will be able to select their outbound number in the separate messaging window (not just in settings). This only addresses outbound caller ID. If you would like to see a more shared inbox group texting option, please vote for these ideas: Add a text message queue similar to the call queueTexts should go to multiple users

An error occurred while saving the comment Jeff commentedIn Phone System / Groups / Call Queues the maximum hold time for someone to wait before going to voice mail (within the Call Handling and Members section) is incremented by 15 second options. Could we specify a number of seconds for more control over this feature. In my case 15 seconds is to much time. Thanks.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jeff commentedCurrently The RingCentral apps allows the user to specify the outgoing caller ID number when creating a next text. However, if a new text is created using the More / Text option directly from a voicemail or missed call entry the ID is not displayed, which means a text may be sent from the wrong caller ID. Please use the functionality from the Text option on the left menu to allow us to view and select the intended caller ID. Thanks.

I use Google Contacts for my customer list. I have noticed that when I add contacts (in Google Contacts) my RingCentral app does not show them when I receive inbound communications (calls or texts) or on the call list inbox. Only the phone number shows. I've spoke with RingCentral support and they provided a work-around where I disconnect and reconnect to Google Contacts, which works, but it's only good up to that moment and an addition disconnect/connect is required each time I want to see additional adds or changes. Just using the sync symbol does not work. A better connection configuration would be nice, as it is cumbersome to go through disconnect/connect process frequently. Thanks.
