Group Owned Inbound Fax Only Phone Numbers
Currently my company has approx 10 inbound Fax Numbers assigned to different Groups / Teams in the company. When a fax is received on one of those extensions, I then need to distribute the fax to a list of emails. The way I have managed to mostly configure this in RC is to create a message only extension that I add the "Fax Number" to. On the notifications tab, I change the settings to have a list of email addresses separated by commas of the people it is supposed to go to.Ideally when those same people send a fax out from RC, I would like their outbound fax to carry the caller id of the "groups" fax. Unfortunately, you cannot do that because that fax out caller id can only be assigned to the "message only" extension which of course is not the user.SO, WHAT IS THE SOLUTION??Individual "Fax in & out" boxes are great feature. Inbound Group Faxes are still necessary for published departments etc.To that end, most companies have at least one inbound fax that is managed by a group of users like a department. In the new world of remote workers, paperless is the key. Each user that is a member of that fax group, should be able to view/manage/be notified of the groups fax list. You should be able to designate a Phone Number as a FAX INBOUND Number. The configuration should allow RC users to be assigned to the FAX Number in the sense that each user sees the fax messages as they come in, can delete the message for the group, and is able to configure their outbound faxes from the RC apps to carry that fax phone number as its outbound fax caller id.

RingCentral should enable the ability for two users to receive faxes at the main company fax number. If the one user is out sick, the office doesn't receive their faxes. We have two users in one office and it would be nice if both could receive and send faxes from the same number.

Fax line 'hunt group' would be backed by several other lines so one main fax line could be backed by a number of users/phone numbers so you could accept multiple faxes at the same time.

Allow for a shared eFax line that can both send and receive, similar to a call queue. This is currently either cumbersome or impossible with both HIPPA and SSO turned on.
