Apparently, on September 1, 2020, RingCentral removed the ability to apply custom rules for users in queues.https://support.ringcentral.com/s/article/11205-Call-Queue-Overflow-Call-Handling-Behavior?language=en_USScenario:User is assigned to an intake call queue. User needs 30 minute scheduled downtime at the same time every day to not take calls. We create a custom rule to send any calls to that user from 10am - 10:30am to the Queue for the next available agent to pick up. Issue:Because of the new update, the user can no longer receive calls from the queue at any time using the Desktop App.Resolution: We have troubleshot this with Support for upwards of 7…

  3. Currently, if a user monitors multiple user's presence, there is only an option to turn on/off "ring my phone" for all users. It would be helpful to allow that setting to be turned on/off by monitored user. This would allow a user to see the status of users on their physical phone, but not have the phone ring for everyone they want to monitor status.So, I would want to have 10 users where I monitor presence, but only 5 of them I want their line to ring when their phone rings.

  4. We have different language queues but we can only have one Recording Notification and it is in English. It would be nice if we could customize this on a per queue level, so that callers who do not speak English understand that the call is being recorded.

  5. This will minimize call recipients' suspicion of unrecognized Caller IDs by identifying our outgoing calls as coming from a known and trusted business. It will also differentiate us from our competitors.

  6. Users typically see the opportunity to upgrade their RC desktop phone application prior to the same version MSI is available for download by IT admins. Since many users are not local admins of their machines, this causes many questions.

  12. With the current RC App Version: 20.3.30.250 Web, 20.3.30.2377 Windows, the user has to click on the event itself to view the event details. This behavior applies to events which run over multiple days.Expected Behavior:User should be able to details (end date of the events) without having to click on the event itself.Reason:Save extra clicks.

  15. I want to be able to highlight a phone number and press a hotkey to open text messages with the number already in there like how auto-dialer works when pressing F6 on a highlighted phone number. Pressing Shift-F8 currently opens a blank text message box and only when RC is the active window.

Good afternoon,I was very happy to see that Ring Central Desktop ap fax allows me to create a custom fax cover sheet to add on all outgoing faxes processed through the desktop ap because our company is required to have a specific HIPPA statement on our fax cover sheet. However, in attempting to streamline the efficency of outbound faxing by using the email fax submmission ##########@rcfax.com and typing into the subject line, the current RC platform doesn't allow this same custom coverpage to be uploaded into the default outgoing fax settings area.   20. Let us block numbers from being allowed to display as CID when outbound dial. If a number is assigned to the q that has an internal inbound # on it, the user has the ability to see the number and use it as outbound CID. We dont want all numbers to be displayed for outbound
