  1. conditions: having teams calls + RC EA in teams active and logged in.

    as in RC app, having the ability to manage multiple incoming calls (hold lines automatically)

    example 1:
    when on an active call on teams, a user receives another RC call and answers it, the EA should be able to hold the MS teams call and keep only the RC call active.

    example 2:
    Also , in the other way round, when initially having an active RC call, and receives a MS Teams call, when answering the MS teams call, it should be able to hold the Call.

  3. The current user mappings only assign a phone number based on the country code, area code, state, city, and postal code., not by site or any other attribute. When they add the unassigned user extensions to the account, they must assign a device and phone number in the region they are provisioning for, and they must assign the unassigned user extension to the site they will be using for that license.

    It would be great if we had the option to provision users and assign them by 'Site.'

  5. The EA is a telephony-focused app that uses our platform presence status. However, the RingCentral App has another messaging focused status that is also being used. This extra status used in RingCentral app causes the 2 HUD displays to show different results.

    The usage of this presence status in different apps may vary.

    It would be great if the status in RingCentral and MS Teams Embedded App is synced or unified which is the main purpose of the Presence sync feature.

Since the business is adding an existing device to their RingCentral account, it would be very helpful if there's some sort of Flag or Warning that will show on the actual desk phone when they add it to their RingCentral account that will tell them the device is already registered on another account instead of them calling support. It will save more time for them instead of trying to register a device that cannot be registered since it is already added to a different account.

  8. Hello,

    My team and I have been using the RingCentral for HubSpot Extension as well as the Data Sync that pushes all of our HubSpot Contacts to our RingCentral Accounts. We have only been using the sync for about 5-6 months now and have already maxed out the number of contacts we can have in our RC accounts (10,000).

    With that, we can no longer search for our HubSpot contacts by name in the RC App and it causes a lot of confusion when trying to keep all communications in order.

    My proposal is to add an automation/configuration within RingCentral…

As a company we rely on our Microsoft Teams status (NOT RC) to let staff know our availability and more importantly to route external calls to relevant call queues\voicemails, etc. when unavailable or on a call. We use RC Teams embedded dialer app to make\receive external calls. DND is the only Teams status that sync's across to RC and drops that status into DND which will achieve the desired result of forwarding calls on for answer via call queues etc. I would like to see the following Teams statuses achieve the same thing.   13. Feature Request: Synchronization of External Shared Contacts between RingEX and RingCX Directories

    Request Overview: The customer requests the ability for external shared contacts that appear in the RingEX company directory to also be visible in the RingCX directory.

    Current Behavior: Currently, external shared contacts added to the RingEX company directory do not automatically appear in the RingCX directory.   15. The existing Message Store "List Messages" endpoint requires you to run it for each individual extension id, whether or not that extension has any messages for the specified time period (dateFrom to dateTo). This is incredibly inefficient if you have a large number of SMS enabled extensions.

    I had hoped that the Message Exports "Create Message Store Report" would allow me to pull this data more efficiently, but it takes forever to complete, so it can't reliably be run frequently.

  16. It would be great if we had the option to integrate WhatsApp into MVP office plans.Currently, there is no direct way to integrate WhatsApp and their MVP account. The only way is by having a RingCX Digital account and connecting to WhatsApp. If they need help in setting up RingCX Digital account, they will have to reach out to their Account Manager or our Sales team.

  18. I’d like to suggest a new feature for the RingCentral integration with Microsoft Outlook. It would be incredibly helpful if users could manage their call forwarding settings directly within the Outlook interface.

    Right now, managing call forwarding requires switching back and forth between RingCentral and Outlook, which can disrupt workflow. If we could set up and adjust call forwarding settings right from Outlook, it would make the process much easier and more efficient.

  19. For Automatic Call Recording in UC, it would be nice to have a separate message played for inbound calls and outbound calls. For example, when someone calls into an extension that has inbound calls recorded, the get one message. When someone calls out on an extension that has their outbound calls recorded, we could have a different message that states Who is calling and then after informing them of calls being recorded. If they know who is calling, then we may not have as many hangups.
