  3. conditions: having teams calls + RC EA in teams active and logged in.

    as in RC app, having the ability to manage multiple incoming calls (hold lines automatically)

    example 1:
    when on an active call on teams, a user receives another RC call and answers it, the EA should be able to hold the MS teams call and keep only the RC call active.

    example 2:
    Also , in the other way round, when initially having an active RC call, and receives a MS Teams call, when answering the MS teams call, it should be able to hold the Call.

  4. Currently, there is no way for admins to view the Do Not Disturb (DND) status of users from the RingCentral Admin Portal. The only way to determine if a user has enabled DND is by accessing their individual RingCentral app, which is not scalable or practical in environments with multiple users or contact center agents.

    This feature request is to add real-time visibility of each user’s DND status directly within the Admin Portal, either as a standalone column in the Users list or within each user’s profile page. Ideally, this would include:

  6. Call Log Association Issue: from SalesForce to RingCentral
    When initiating a "Click-To-Dial" call from a Person Account and associating the auto call log with a specific Case through the "Related To" field, the call log appears on the Person account but not in the associated Case feed. Please review to attached video for example.

  8. Currently, if a phone number is associated with multiple contact records, the application will show all contacts linked to the same number without any filtering.

    We are looking for a way to force a number associated with multiple contacts to display as a Department or Site number during dialing.

In the RingCentral desktop, we have the option to share voicemails which apparently is non-feature while using the Teams app. The only option we have is to "Download" but I feel that the extra steps to export and import a file as opposed to sharing the voicemail to someone within the company can be felt on our productivity.

  13. Right now, using the API, one can only send an SMS from the phone numbers associated with the credentials used to authenticate to the API. This is limiting because it requires implementers to manage a large set of credentials and use different credentials depending on the phone numbers they want to send SMS from.

    This idea would introduce the ability/permission for a RingCentral user with the SuperAdmin role to invoke the send SMS API to send messages from any phone number in the company (assuming that phone number is enabled for SMS via TCR).

  14. automatically sync RingCentral contacts to Google Workspace

    I want to sync RingCentral contacts to Google Workspace without changing our current SCIM setup.
    I have some teams on Google Voice that need to be able to see our other teams on RingCentral for call handling.

    Importing via a .csv file is not effective as the file will need to be periodically downloaded from RingCentral, and then imported into Google Workspace.

  16. It would be great if we had the option to integrate WhatsApp into MVP office plans.Currently, there is no direct way to integrate WhatsApp and their MVP account. The only way is by having a RingCX Digital account and connecting to WhatsApp. If they need help in setting up RingCX Digital account, they will have to reach out to their Account Manager or our Sales team.

  17. The more our customers leverage RingCX, they need a way to avoid web page refreshes disconnecting calls. Salesforce (SFDC) encounters a lot of random refreshes that are impacting the SFDC Agent widget when on calls (since it's just the RCX native with a skin on it). If the agent can use the embedded RCX within the desktop version of RingEX, and they can access SFDC content in-app, that would be a solid workaround for the refresh issue.

    SFDC content to access in-app includes: customer profiles, records, accounts, opportunities, etc.

  19. The EA is a telephony-focused app that uses our platform presence status. However, the RingCentral App has another messaging focused status that is also being used. This extra status used in RingCentral app causes the 2 HUD displays to show different results.

    The usage of this presence status in different apps may vary.

    It would be great if the status in RingCentral and MS Teams Embedded App is synced or unified which is the main purpose of the Presence sync feature.
