Often HR might submit a new request, weeks in advance but I understand there must be some limit. if the new start is like a typical on Monday and might have training or orientation on the first day. 48 hours for something submitted on a Friday is not long enough.

It is now possible to schedule the new user e-mail-- the email is still a 48 hour period, but the admin can decide when the 48 hour period begins. Learn more here.

is it possible to add options to soft Phone (would be nice for hard phones as well) to press a button not (answer or not answer) but a custom prompt like some mobile phone do to send info (in a voice prompt) like on a call currently please call back and maybe some other options) Also a nice option for a custom VM to simply state Out of the office leave a message or call back at a later time.
