Currently, when a Call Queue uses a Custom Rule set to "Play Announcement and Disconnect" (e.g., for staff training or emergency maintenance), every inbound call is logged as a "Missed Call" in Analytics and Call Log reports. This occurs because the system requires the call to hit the queue to trigger the rule, but since no agent is rung, it defaults to a missed status. Proposed Enhancement:
Provide a toggle or backend logic that allows administrators to categorize calls handled by specific "Announcement Only" custom rules as "Handled by System" or "Information Provided" rather than "Missed/Abandoned." User Benefit:
This would allow businesses to maintain accurate KPI reporting for their agents without manual data cleaning after scheduled downtime or training sessions.
