Most potential customers ask me to SMS them my vCard so they can add my contact quickly. It seems like a very basic feature that might make the difference between being in somebody's contacts list or not. Providing people with a well vetted vCard would also boost my professional image.

VCards are files that contain Contact Information that are saved from a smartphone. These are saved/shared through the Contacts app on their phones. Meanwhile, on the company's side, this can be opened through browsers on desktops. It can be helpful if we can download them since it is convenient for our clients.

Ring Central needs to figure out how to allow us to send vcards to our customers via texting and it not convert the file to a txt format on the phone that receives it. This is a must, and a reason we selected this platform, for the texting capabilities, and never dreamed it wouldn't work.

It would be awesome to be able to send a .vcf contact card through RC. This would allow myself to build familiarity with clients and increase my accessibility to them. It would make future calls easier to connect because they would know who is calling and they wouldn't have to put any effort into creating my contact.

its pretty obvious why we need this feature

If an external call or text comes in and I need to refer them to another company or contact, I need to be able to text them a contact card.
