  1. This is a common ask in the retail market like we faced during the DECATHLON project.
    This will allow for the end user to access a directory based on the following:
    -/ Global Directory (e.g. all stores) tier
    -/ Regional Directory (e.g. stores in 1 city) tier
    -/ Local Directory (e.g. specific store site) tier

    Every store is usually autonomous and needs access to his own directory and is not shared among other stores.
    In case we can’t support site directory - as a minimum the ask is to support search based on multiple criteria:

  2. Need more Contacts

    Can you increase our companies contact limit to like 1,000,000?

    Currently the limit is 10,000 and its hurting our experience because we need all hubspot contacts in ring central for simple usage..

  3. Currently when uploading a list of external shared contacts they appear in All contacts and Company contacts. It would be much more useful if once uploaded these external shared contacts could be added to a new group for instance Vendor Contacts, Outside Sales Rep Cell Phones, etc... that could be shared with all phone system users.

  4. We are one company that creates a site for each office we have. In the RingCentral web app, when searching for internal extensions it would be helpful to be able to filter the search to show extensions assigned to a location

  6. Customer currently do not have a way to be able to edit shared external contacts.
    Current method to edit via csv file and re-upload the template is such a hassle and inconvenient for user adding or editing shared external contacts,

    Customers would like to have a feature where

    1.) Shared External Contacts can be edit using Ringcentral App or SW
    2.) Upload Shared External contacts without using .csv File
    3.If 2 is not possible at least add shared external contacts without downloading the whole data of the template.

  9. Is there any way to disable the display of External Shared Contacts directory contacts to a group of users ?
    I currently use the external shared contacts of Google (it a check box to enble) but the sync has troubles (+20k contacts). I would like to use the External Shared Contacts directory from ringCentral Directory integration but not all of our users need it.

  11. Customer is requesting for the automatically removal of duplicate contact information on the centralized External Shared Contacts Directory. Since the admin is the only person who can add the contact on the admin portal and every users will gather all of their personal contacts, chances of Duplicate contacts will occur and customer wanted for the feature to automatically detect the duplicate contact and automatically removing those duplicate contact on the centralized External Shared Contacts Directory.

  12. Some of our users only use a portion of the external shared contacts directory that we have applied for all the users (different departments use different contacts.) They would like to be able to add from the external shared contacts directory to their personal quick contacts .

  13. For the External Shared Contacts Directory, to add a column for extension #, next to the company main number. This allows the Admin to share extension numbers .

  16. In the RingCentral app in Contacts, you can create teams and view members' statuses. For some reason in the RingCentral Teams Plugin, this option is not available. Would be great to be able to view those teams in the plugin as well.

  17. When the customer is in the "Contacts" Menu and selects ALL, it shows every single account in their AD environment. The customer wants an option in the app to only show the users as part of the Company Contacts.

  18. Callers will be asked for their name when call screening is enabled and the caller is not in the contact list. This feature only works for external calls and not for company contacts. Is there a way to exclude company contacts from being screened?

  19. Please allow the upload of CSV template to go through even with duplicate contacts, and then simply show error notification after the upload to automatically delete the duplicates instead of rejecting during upload.

The amount of characters in the contacts notes field shortened substantially and deleted large portions of client contextual notes history, we really need as many contact notes field characters as possible, how do we enable a higher amount of these simple text notes characters for this critical field? Please let us know.
