  1. Having a copy of the document that was faxed attached to the Fax Message Transmission Result email will be very helpful. In our case, as a law firm, we need to add a copy of that email to the case as proof that the fax was sent successfully. Having the document attached to the confirmation email will make it easier for the Legal Assistants, Paralegals, and Attorneys to identify which case that fax belongs to.

  3. This is useful because sometimes you need to reference a dinosaur in a chat. This would benefit me specifically as I recently needed to reference a dinosaur and couldn't. It should work by clicking the emoji button and scrolling down to animals and at least 4 dinosaur options should be available (minimum of T-Rex, Brachiosaurus, Stegosaurus, Triceratops)(Pteranodon if a 5th is an option). Also a T-Rex with grabber arms would be nice (it's funny because T-Rex's have short arms.)

  5. Is there a way to prevent the dial pad from popping out of the Ring Central App when making a call? I would rather it stay in the Ring Central app and not pop out into it's own little window.

Businesses have their own IT who manage the applications installed on the agent's devices, it will be easy if some settings on the RingCentral phone app. can be configured on the Super Admin side that will apply to all of the users, like turning off the product alerts which it is asking for users to download the new RingCentral desktop app. which they are avoiding for the agents to install unnecessary application that is not required for the business.

  8. Customers want to add additional settings or enhance the existing keyboard shortcuts in the RingCentral app, so that they may use customized hotkeys to answer calls even while they are working on another application, and even if the app is closed, it should work.

  9. We are applying for TCR SMS for our company. I was just told that ONLY 1 extension can send out SMS from the main company number. This is not very useful since we need multiple users to be able to send out SMS from the main company number!

    The presence status automatically changes from "green" to "grey(offline)" after 15 minutes of inactivity, although the user is working on the PC (app in the background)

    The change of the presence status in case of inactivity must be freely configurable (after time or no change) include the option to deactivate.

If a RingCentral call is received while in a Focus mode, the RingCentral app can still vibrate and audibly ring the device.On Android, a user can allow the RingCentral app through Do Not Disturb.   15. In the RingEx desktop app under Call Rules and Voicemail you can 'Forward all calls'. We've been advised by Ring Tech Support that this does not work if the incoming call comes via a Call Queue. This could be misleading if a user expects this to work and does not test first.

    Could this either be changed so call queue calls are also forwarded or at least the description of 'Forward all calls' be annotated to advise as such.

  17. I am on the phone with Ring Central customer service right now and he is guiding me through posting this.Ring Central is false advertising that it has Group Text Messaging. The customer service rep confirmed with senior tech support that it's not true. A Ring Central user can start a group text message; however, responses from non-Ring Central phone numbers don't come back into the group, they come back individually. Which defeats the purpose.   20. When you have the desktop App and the Plug-In parallel working and you have a call/conference started on the desktop App, the presence status on the Plug-In does not change - (much more you somebody can call you - you know: no consistent busy management as we know - other topic).
