  3. I think it would be helpful to have the SMS on the desktop app act like the mobile app where the texts from yourself are on the right side and texts from the other person on the left. also having different colors to differentiate your texts or the other person's texts. This makes it easier to read and find messages from yourself or the other person.

Please include RC APP in the Forwarding to Co-worker in call Handling in USERS as this section is only limited to showing the hardphones when an extension is selected since not all users have hardphones, most users only have the RC App to use as the phone for incoming / outgoing so it will be nifty if the app comes up on the selection as well.

  6. Requesting to add 'Assign To' to the menu option in the Number Inventory. Currently the only option listed is Delete, with this, we can delete multiple numbers at once; however, we cannot assign multiple numbers at once. This would be beneficial for managing numbers that have been moved back to the inventory after a user is disabled or deleted.

  8. We can see the current status by going to "Phones Systems >> Phones & Devices >> Paging Devices". It would be beneficial to receive notifications when the status changes from online to offline or offline to online.

  9. Please allow pasting image directly into chat without having to create new notes. Just like Microsoft Teams. Creating new notes is obscuring the clarity of the images.

We use status' to indicate our availability - this is especially beneficial to verify if an employee is working in the office, from home, remote, at a customer, etc etc.However, all outside organizations that I have communicated with can also see this information. It would be beneficial to have a status for individuals outside our organization.

  13. We are looking for a way to save/export the text thread from our Teams chats as it has historical information that we will need to reference outside of the Ring Central desktop app. I would also appreciate an integration from a Third Party that does this task as well.

  14. Our receptionist uses a desk phone with sidecars. We're a small company with only about 70 extensions, so we are able to have a button on the phone or on a sidecar for every extension. It is a multi-step process with this system, from a desk phone, to transfer a call directly to someone's voice mail (not to their extension, but to their voice mail). In our former phone system it was a two-touch process (Transfer to VM button, extension button).   16. Hello! I text/sms people on a daily basis for my job. Sorting through the long list or searching in the search tab can be quite tedious.The feature is already in the "Message" tab. In the Message tab you're able to create a new folder (see Ring1 image or click me), name it whatever you want, move it up and down the list as you please, color code it to your liking and add things in it.   17. Currently, the work around is to just repeat the announcement in the audio recording that you upload. This does not allow callers to repeat phone number or websites that they may be directed to.

  18. RingCentral Users with consecutive extensions (ie 117, 133) are receiving inbound calls from individuals calling a Call Queue of which they are not part of. If the inbound caller presses a phone tree option multiple times, the call is routed to the RC Users extension rather than the phone tree option. Is there a way to turn off extension dialing since we do not use extensions and would prefer the Inbound Caller remain in the respected Call Queue?

It would be a much better user experience if RingCentral had the capability to automatically add Live Report License when user is added to Dashboard and in turn automatically remove Live Report when they are removed from a Dashboard.This whole thing of needing to transfer a license to another user if one is removed and another is added is not a good UI experience for RingCentral customers and also adds unnecessary work for your RingCentral support teams.
