Allow special characters in user last name field
We would like to be able to show our pronouns next to our last name, but the field doesn't allow special characters in the name field. Please either add a new field for pronouns, that would show next to the name in the RingCentral Meetings app, or allow special characters in the last name field.

Set-up an iPad as scheduling display for RingCentral Video Rooms
RingCentral Video Rooms should allow you to use an iPad as a Controller and another one as Scheduling Display. The iPad for Scheduling Display can be placed on a wall outside the conference room, which will let the attendees view the room's schedule and availability, as well as reserve the room.

Disable require password for Personal Meetings in the Admin Portal
So far, we only have the option to enable/disable the 'Require Password' option for Scheduled Meetings on the Admin Portal.
It would be great if we had the option to also enable/disable the 'Require Password' option for Personal Meetings in the Admin Portal instead of just having the option on the RingCentral app wherein the users need to configure the setting on their own. Admins should have the option to enable/disable this feature, not just for scheduled meetings but for Personal meetings as well.11 votes -

Alternate Host
There should be a way to set a secondary host or moderator in a video meeting so that if the person who is scheduling a meeting was for some reason unavailable, the secondary host could start with those controls already. It would be neat if we could make this a permanent feature, such as John Doe is permanently a secondary host in all meetings scheduled by Jane Doe.

Show countdown timer for meeting time left on screen.Can be option to setup for full meeting or last 10-15 mins.Can be dismissed by host Large font (non distracting on the corner of the screen bottom or top).

Free test link available to RingCentral Meetings or Video call guests in advance of scheduled calls
Providing a url for guests of video calls to test the meeting from a browser without having to download the client AND in advance of a call. This is different to the feature where they can test their audio and camera function as they join the call. For example, Zoom provides the following link which anyone can use to test their machines audio and video and the process of joining a call (if new to zoom) in advance on joining a scheduled meeting https://zoom.us/test/

Second simultaneous meeting
It would be nice to allow for a second simultaneous meeting to be started in cases where meetings may overlap in time. I coordinate many meetings, not all of which I am essential for participating the entire time. It would be nice to be able to hand off Host duties to a co-worker and start another meeting in instances where timing may otherwise overlap, or in the case of back-to-back meetings where the first one runs longer than planned.

Allow Admin to remove default Virtual Backgrounds in Meetings.
Hello,We would like for our RC admins to have the ability to remove the default virtual backgrounds in RC. We are able to add and remove the feature itself. But, we would like the ability to control the background options that are visible to end users including the default provided by Ring Central.

Add admin setting - Turn off Camera for participants
Allow ‘Turn off Camera for participants’ to be set from the admin RingCentral Video settings. This option existed in RingCentral meetings and can be set when creating a meeting, but is not configurable through RingCentral Video settings admin portal. Enabling this to be set for the entire account would provide consistency in the case that a meeting host forgets to change the setting.

default virtual background options
By default, would like to be offered a few nice aesthetic office space virtual backgrounds. We currently only are offered one that looks like you're literally sitting on the conference room table, so it doesn't look realistic. I found nice ones online, but you have to pay to use them; it'd be nice if Ring offered them by default.
