  1. Set the default virtual background for all users in an organization

    We would like to be able to set a default background option for all users (or selected users) in our organization.Our team of call center users is continually changing with users being added or deleted from the organization. The new users almost always forget to set their virtual background to blurred or an approved background.We need to be able to go into the Administration Portal and select a group of users and set their default virtual background as blurred (or any image that we choose).Is this possible?

    when using RCV to conduct/host a round table, it's beneficial to hold attendees in the waiting room and to be able to send them a message, e.g. starting in 2 minutes

    Now chat only supports text. MS Teams allows a MUCH richer experience in Chat, with emoticons, GIFs, copy and paste images and videos.

  5. Agenda and timer host tools for managing meetings

    I would love to have more built in tools as a meeting host on managing my meeting set up and live meetings. A timer to track topics and a way to have the agenda topics show up on the screen in a way where you can easily manage your meeting would be cool and a differentiator from our competitors.     Hello there, I have an idea of how to improve our video product. Issue: When a host or speaker presents something it's really difficult to remember all text into the head. And usually, they prepare some document with text, or if it's Google Slides you can use Speaker notes.   13. Add RCV Outlook plugin that works from Outlook Mail tab

    Our company has been using RingCentral Meetings for quite some time now, and this was a smooth rollout using the Ring Central Meetings for Outlook plugin. People in our company when in Outlook are on the mail page 90% of the time and having the option to schedule or start an instant meeting right on that page made it quick and easy. This I believe is the main reason RingCentral meetings was adopted so quickly and we were not pressured by the Execs to visit Microsoft Teams, Zoom or other platforms.   14. Automatic bidirectional message translation in RingEX based on a users regional settings

    In RingEX, we currently only have the ability to translate a message when composing it. However, I would like to suggest the following feature ideas for future consideration:

    1. The ability to translate an inbound message in RingEX. Currently, the only option is to copy and paste the message into Google Translate or a similar tool.

    2. When we have bidirectional translation, I would like to suggest automatically translating a message when it is in a language different from the recipient's language (based on the user's regional settings in RingEX).

    3. For the automatic translation suggestion mentioned above in 2, I propose adding…

  15. Provide full screen viewing of shared screen - hide toolbar

    I am unable to view full screen of a shared screen in RingCentral Video. If I choose Fit to Window or Original size, there are still three unnecessary wasted areas, which prevent actual full screen. Attached is an example when another user shares their screen. In Fit to Windows mode, I can’t read the screen. In Original size mode, I only see part of the screen. This makes it impossible to use screen sharing for user training.   16. Rooms Connector: Report on use and alert when all concurrent licenses are in-use

    Since Rooms Connector licenses are concurrent, customers need the ability to run reports on peak usage of those licenses. In addition, the customer should be able to set up an alert the moment that all licenses are occupied.

  18. Meeting Minutes and Notes

    Many times in these meetings is is necessary to take meeting minutes, notes, and or action items. It would be nice to be able to download a timestamped meeting transcript as well as notes taken during the meeting with links back to the context of when the note was taken(the place in the recording that the note was taken). It would also be nice to be able to export the action items from that meeting directly to outlook or some other app.

  19. RC Video support for Safari

    Many Mac users only use or have Safari as their browser. If you support Microsoft Edge, you should definitely support Safari. Both are native browsers to operating systems.

  20. Automatically deny incoming calls while on RCV Meetings

    My users are up in arms about this - it's completely absurd we're even dealing with this. When you are on a RCV meeting - EVEN WHEN RECORDING - incoming calls directly to you or from a queue will popup on screen AND YOU WILL HEAR THE RINGTONE. What in the hell were the developers thinking?? Did they honestly think this was an acceptable solution for business/enterprise users? RC support's "solution" is to have users manually turn on DND or turn off the "Accept queue calls" slider. Now I have 90 people (whom I can rarely get to remember to…
