This remains something we're tracking as potential future work, but it isn't currently on our near-term roadmap. We'll update this thread if that changes.

Thanks for this suggestion. Remote control during screen sharing is available today, but only when both the person sharing and the person requesting control are on the RingCentral desktop app. This is because the desktop app has deeper access to your device that a browser simply isn't allowed to have for security reasons — browsers intentionally limit what a website can do with your screen, keyboard, and mouse to protect users.
Bringing remote control to the browser would require the desktop app to be updated to work with those browser limitations, which is a significant undertaking relative to how this feature is used today. After evaluating it, we've decided this isn't something we'll be building, and we're closing this request.
If remote control is something you rely on, we'd recommend joining meetings from the RingCentral desktop app rather than the browser.See Requesting and approving remote desktop control.

The new External Directory is nice, but we have a need to have smaller shared contact lists between our various groups of users. Multiple managed contact lists that users can be granted access to as needed. With write restrictions also available. Sales contacts shared to the sales groups, OEM contacts shared with the CS groups, etc.
