This is long overdue and should be implemented asap. This can and most likely will save someone’s life.

This is very important, and it would be helpful for RingCentral to add this feature. Pre-recorded messages could save time and are essential in many situations. This would benefit everyone using the paging system; currently, there is a real-time announcement feature, which is great. Regarding prerecorded messages, they could be useful when a pager is under stress, and their speech might be unclear. For example, during an active shooter situation, this would inform employees and guests without revealing locations. Another great example where it could be used is for severe weather alerts, such as lightning, flooding, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc. A follow-up to this would be great if the capacity of the SIP speakers could be adjusted to utilize more speakers/phones. Currently, 25 are allowed, but for larger locations where many people are present, this should be adjusted to 50 or more. Please take the time, RingCentral, to act on this because it could prevent emergencies when they arise.

this can be done with other 3rd party integrations that work with school bells system and Emergency Mass Notification systems, but this is feature should not be limited to the Education sector, it is valid these days for all companies and organizations. But changes need to limited page group max of 25 phones and/or a simpler way to set multicast configurations depending on the phone model.

This would be very help full for my company. We would use it to alert the on-call staff to the front when we get a rush of customers to get them in and out in a timely manner.

Create a pre-recorded announcement that can be played from a paging/announcement button on a desktop phone that would automatically play on selected RC devices.

This would be useful for active alerts - tornadoes, shooters, other emergencies. It would benefit everybody in the work areas that may not have access to media, but do have access to overhead paging / phone systems. HR or someone dials an extension that plays the respective automated alert.
