Mobile App to allow incoming calls to AUTOMATICALLY connect to bluetooth device (i.e. airpods)
Being hands free when talking to customers on the Ring Central mobile app is essential for us at our company. All of our company calls are forwarded to the cell phones of our customer service reps and they answer via the Ring Central mobile app.If we dial out on the mobile app the bluetooth (air pods) connect automatically. However, if an incoming call comes in, we have to click on "Audio" and then select the Bluetooth device we want to connect to. This happens for every single incoming call which is terrible because we cannot hear our customers until after we go through the process of selecting the bluetooth device and then connecting to it. The whole process takes maybe 12-15 seconds for every incoming call. On almost every call we have to ask the customer to repeat their first few sentences because we can't hear them until the bluetooth switches over. We (most of us) are using an iPhone. I am not sure if this issue is unique to iOS or if Android users also have this issue. When not using the ring central mobile app and making regular calls on our cell phones, both incoming and outgoing calls connect automatically to the bluetooth device. This issue only occurs when receiving incoming calls via Ring Central. I have Googled, YouTubed, and talked to Ring Central help about this issue and it seems the only way to fix it is for the developers to create a fix/update that will allow this.
