Integrate local Mac Contacts within the app (like RingCentral Phone does)
This applies to the RingCentral app on Mac (not sure it if would apply to Windows as well). In the old RingCentral Phone app, it would integrate with the Mac's local Contacts app (Settings > Contacts > View Mac Contacts). Doing this would allow the list of calls/texts to be populated with the callers' names instead of phone numbers. This was great. In the new RingCentral combined app, this isn't possible. Under Settings > Calendars and contacts you can connect the app to Microsoft and Google, but not your local Mac Contacts app. Thus I currently have to run both apps at the same time - the combined RingCentral app for most tasks, and then RingCentral Phone for things related to phone calls. My request is to implement this feature in the new RingCentral desktop app like the old RingCentral Phone had.

With RingCentral now retiring the Phone app, this is no longer a minor inconvenience but a major loss of functionality for Mac users. The new combined app removes a basic feature that previously worked well: native Mac Contacts integration for caller identification. Requiring customers to lose this capability, or to maintain awkward workarounds, is not acceptable. If this is not addressed, our company will be forced to look at other phone system providers.
