BT Feature Request: Custom Configuration for BT provided phones
Details : Currently, BT-provided phones are not permitted to undergo any custom configuration changes because doing so would void the manufacturer’s warranty. The prohibited customizations include, but are not limited to:
*Blind/Attended Transfer Settings for Yealink phones
*Custom Line Key Setup
*Extending Transfer Timers for Cisco phones
*Any configuration requiring access to the phone’s web interface
Expected Behavior: To be allow to apply the custom changes according to the customers request for their phone set up

Reasons why it is important to our business.
To make sure important leads or angry customers do not get accidently dropped or dropped into an unknown voicemail box.
We would be able to prep the receiver of the call so that they have time to pull up the customers details which creates a good impression of the business
Guarantees the customer reaches the exact contact they need
We would be able to verify that someone is at their desk before sending through the call
Customers do not have to repeat themselves
Not all of the extensions are on the same floor, so to prep some co-workers you physically have to leave the building, go down a fire escape and into another office.
