Custom/Healthcare Booking Integration (e.g., OceanMD) in AI Receptionist
We operate in the medical field and use OceanMD as our primary appointment scheduling and EMR tool. Currently, the AI Receptionist only supports a limited set of native booking integrations (about 6 platforms).
Proposed Enhancement:
Support Custom / Third-Party Booking Tools: Allow clinics to connect external EHR/EMR platforms (like OceanMD) directly to the AI Receptionist.
Extend "Collect Appointment Request" Functionality: Allow the AI Receptionist to collect patient details/requests during a call and seamlessly push that structured intake data into custom booking tools via webhooks, API, or direct integration.
Business Value:
Medical practices and specialized clinics rely heavily on healthcare-specific booking platforms to maintain compliance and workflow efficiency. Expanding integration options beyond the standard 6 tools will significantly increase adoption among medical and healthcare users.
