This is available today. In the desktop app you can separate the shared screen and the video gallery across two monitors using the pop-out control in the top toolbar. See [Using the new RingCentral Video meetings experience].

17 votesPresenters can now share and record at higher fidelity — up to QHD/2K at 30 fps — which resolves the blurriness some customers saw on high-resolution displays. A customer-facing article covering the fidelity settings will follow.

Thanks for the continued feedback on this one.
To clarify how RingCentral Video works today: if the meeting host hasn't joined, the first participant from your account to join is automatically given host/moderator controls — so a scheduled or recurring meeting can start and run even when the original host is out.
We also hear the specific request here: the ability to designate a named co-host or alternate host when scheduling, so a chosen colleague reliably holds those controls regardless of join order — and so dependent actions like automatic recording or breakout room management work as expected. That capability isn't available in RCV today.
This remains on our backlog. It isn't on the near-term roadmap yet, but the interest here is heard and we'll update this thread as our plans develop.

48 votesAn IT admin can set meetings to start recording automatically whenever a host or moderator joins.End users can also do the same via Settings>Meetings in service.ringcentral.com. This has been available for several years and is configured in the Admin Portal under company meeting settings. See Configuring company meeting settings.

189 votesAnyone presenting — not just the host — can include system audio so participants hear shared video and audio clearly. This is supported when presenting from the desktop app on both Windows and macOS, with macOS support our most recent addition. See Sharing your screen with audio.
