Ring Central Video Ability to connect Non 365 Outlook Calendar- Feature Request
Currently the new RC Video is not able to link to Microsoft on premise exchange / Outlook. The only options to link a calendar are Google or MS 365. I must say I understand the move off of the Zoom platform but to ask people to be moved off by March 8th 2021 and lose these necessary features makes it very difficult.Thank you in advance,Derek

Deficiency: Currently the RC desktop app can only sync calendars for users on Microsoft's email services (e.g., O365), or GMail. There is currently no way for on-prem Exchange (or any other email service) to sync calendar data to RC desktop app. Idea: Update the RC Outlook plug-in to allow sync between the Outlook desktop app and the RC desktop app. This would resolve the issue for companies using on-prem Exchange, or any service that can be used with Outlook (including O365 and Gmail).

Not all companies use cloud based contacts from Office 365 (Microsoft) or Google. A large percentage of SMB and Enterprise users have their own secure Exchange Server (or compatible ActiveSync server) for email, contacts and calendar. Having this feature adds functionality to the RC Desktop application and greater alignment with features from RC VOIP cloud competitors. (NOTE: The RC iPhone App already syncs with any Exchange or ActiveSync account already configured on the phone. Why not the desktop app?)

Hi All, I would like to ask that the new Ring Central Scheduler is provided via a .msi or .exe file. Currently you have to log into the Microsoft Store to be able to get the Outlook Addin. For organizations that do not have Office 365 and have Exchange on premise turns this process of having to create a MS user for each employee and then logging that user into the MS Store just to be able to download the RC Scheduler. Please provide an .msi or .exe file to avoid these extra steps.
