This feature is critical to our business. We use our RingCentral number to communicate with patients regarding appointments and time-sensitive services. Having “Via RingCentral” displayed instead of our business name is unacceptable because patients may mistake our messages for spam, ignore them, report them, or block our business number.
This creates a serious communication and trust issue for healthcare businesses. RingCentral should allow customers to replace “Via RingCentral” with their verified business name or remove the label entirely. Please treat this as a high-priority issue, as it directly affects message delivery, patient communication, and our business reputation.

As a sales company, people will feel more comfortable responding to a text with our company name as the ID. Would help make the customer feel more secure in this scam infested world.

Currently The RingCentral apps allows the user to specify the outgoing caller ID number when creating a next text. However, if a new text is created using the More / Text option directly from a voicemail or missed call entry the ID is not displayed, which means a text may be sent from the wrong caller ID. Please use the functionality from the Text option on the left menu to allow us to view and select the intended caller ID. Thanks.

Currently, when texting, the direct line is shown for outbound caller id. Then the user must choose the main company number, as not to give out their direct number to just anyone. before sending text.A preferred method is to be able to set the Main company number as the default or first number.

When texting and I choose someone from my contact list the wrong caller ID is inserted and I have no way to correct it. This is not a feature, it is a bug that needs to be handled.
