Ability to have hold music start at different intervals, or the ability to have multiple hold music that will be selected randomly
We have hold music that has about 7 different topics. When somebody is put on hold they automatically just here the first topic as it always starts at the start. We would like to have these randomized so other topics in the hold music can play first - it the option to put a few different files of hold music in and they will all play randomly. This will allow for us to have multiple topics of hold music being listened to from our customers

We recently moved to RingCentral from another system which was able to loop the home message. Our ‘on hold’ voice messages will talk about services we offer and also current news related to our industry. It is 10 messages, each message 20 seconds long with music in between. With the RingCentral product, if I put a customer on hold, they will hear this message from the beginning. If I take them off hold and then put them back on hold, they will hear the same message from the very beginning again which means the important messages at the end of this recording will never be heard unless I keep the customer on hold for a very long time.
I would suggest two options to improve the RingCentral current system
-1: The message is played on a constant loop so the customer will jump into the messages at different stages of the recording and thus hear a different message each time. This should be controlled by ticking a box on the Admin settings to either start the recording from the beginning each time or go into loop mode.
-2: We have 8 voice messages. I should be able to upload 8 separate mp3's (or maybe more) and the system randomly picks 1 of the 8 to play so when the customer is on hold, they hear the message from the beginning of the recording, but it will be a different message each time they are on hold. -

Our “Music on Hold” (the advertising message or music that callers hear while on hold) runs about 6 minutes in length. With your system the message will “rewind” to the very beginning each time the client goes on hold rather fall to a random location during the message. This only allows callers the option to hear a portion of the first part of the message depending on how long they are on hold of course.Monotonous for repeat callers.SolutionSome of Ring Central’s competing service providers have solved this problem by having their contracted message on hold service providers break the message into 4 or 5 sound files.Using this method the message rotates or falls in random fashion so repeat callers don’t her the same old message every time they call or are put on hold.Is it possible to have this done with your system? The benefits for both client and RingCentral would be enormous.
