Color fax transmissions
Faxes are always transmitted in black and white regardless of if you send an attachment or not. My business needs color transmissions for insurance processing.

In this day and age, there is a 99% chance that any pdf will have some color in it somewhere. This shouldn't cause a fax to fail. You should just convert it to black and white. (In reality you should just support color faxes, but I see that's been denied in the past). You just pointed me to another idea that has already been labeled as "will not implement". Also that idea assumes that faxes ARE converted to black and white, which is currently not the case. My experience has been that ANY color in a PDF causes the fax to FAIL. This is not the same as requesting color be allowed. I'd be happy if it would still send it as black and white.

Thanks for submitting this idea. At this time, this is not a feature that we are considering, as most fax machines do not print in color. We recommend scanning the image and sending via secure email.
