Ability to customize password for Poly phones without reverting it to the default.
Due to configuration via assisted provisioning, whenever the customer is changing the password of the phones, it just reverts back to the default password. Customer would like more customization power.

 commentedThis is not a feature request but a basic security step. I cannot pass an audit with devices on our network using default passwords. Network segmentation is only a partial fix for this. I have marked this as critical as our compliance audit requires changing ALL default passwords.

 commentedTeam, We are facing this issue. 5 polycom's connected to RC. They contiue to reset passwords for Admin and user to the default. Our infosec team is kiliing us. Any thoughts on how to get this fixed? John DWorske

 commentedRingCentral Desk Phone password change. Polycom desk phone revert back to its default password on the next after changing the password when devices are purchased from RingCentral and is locked. Needs to have a way to change password on the GUI without it going back to it default set up even if this is locked under RingCentral. This is prone to attack and has security rick.
