Allow callers on hold to disable or change the hold music
One of my clients uses ringcentral. I dread being the first caller to one of their conference calls, because the default hold music is repetitive and (totally my opinion) awful.I may be the only person in the world that doesn't like it, but in the off chance that other people groan and roll their eyes every time it starts playing... I'd love this service so much if there was the option to press a button while holding, and have the music just turn off. "Press 1 to mute the hold music" - This would be AMAZING.You might say "just turn down the audio", and I've tried... believe me I've tried... but to have the audio low enough that the music isn't discernible, makes it so you don't hear the announcement that the call is starting. If this is impossible to do, fine... I'll deal with it... but if this within the realm of possibility, it would make me much happier about using your service

Agreed !! What I asked for - https://ideas.ringcentral.com/ideas/CUSTCOM-I-7181Enable Audio Stream to play for on hold + IVR to choose type of Music / Content1 - Essential enable Web based URL(s) or ATA input(S) of 1 or more Audio Streams for on hold music.2 - When a person is on hold they can select the type of music they listen to (like what Apple does as an example) ... through a IVR.3 - Enable a stream to also be able to be played on a single or multicast SIP enable speaker array and then be able to interrupt that (muting the stream) when an alarm or announcement needs to be made (like in a large department store).
