SAFETY FOR PATIENTS CONCERN RE VOICEMAIL QUIRK- MEDICAL CLINIC
Staff are receiving fax notifications on VOICEMAIL ON T54W YEALINK DESK PH ONES . PLEASE disable fax‑to‑voicemail notifications on our RingCentral desk phones. Our medical clinic receives over 100 faxes per day, and each fax generates a voicemail alert on the Yealink T54W phones used by our front‑office staff. Staff must sift through numerous fax‑related voicemail alerts to locate actual patient voicemails, some of which contain urgent or time‑sensitive medical information.

This creates a significant patient‑safety concern. Fax notifications are obscuring critical patient messages, and listening to these notifications also marks the corresponding faxes as “read,” disrupting our clinical documentation workflow.

Please advise how to disable fax voicemail notifications on the T54W desk phones while maintaining regular voicemail alerts. Given RingCentral’s strong reputation in healthcare environments, we would appreciate expedited assistance in resolving this issue.

have you tried going into the advanced notification options and uncheck VM and only keep fax?

I get over 100 faxes in a day so disabling this feature would save much needed time

It impacts our performance. We are a very busy office and don't like to skip these voicemails.
