Option to Hide Call Queue Answered Call Information in User RC App Call Log
Option to Hide Call Queue Answered Call Information in User Call Log
Description: Currently, when a call from a call queue rings to a user’s RC app and the call is missed, the app displays information about who answered the call (e.g., another team member). This is a significant issue as it unnecessarily exposes sensitive internal information, specifically how many calls other staff members are answering. This is not relevant to the user, and it’s simply not appropriate for other staff to see this level of detail regarding others' call handling.
Requested Feature: Introduce an option in the settings that allows administrators or users (based on permission) to hide or disable the display of who answered a call from a call queue in the user’s call log view when they miss a call.
Use Case:
A user misses a call from a call queue and does not want to see who answered the call in their call log.
This would provide a cleaner and more focused call log for users, avoiding unnecessary details that may not be relevant to them.
Most importantly, it removes the visibility of how many calls other staff are answering, protecting privacy and promoting a more professional environment.
Desired Outcome:
Users will not see the name or extension of the person who answered the call when viewing their missed call in the app.
Only the incoming call (e.g., "Missed Call from Call Queue") will be shown in the call log.
This will ensure the privacy of all staff members and prevent unnecessary exposure of internal call handling details.
