Offer Mobile Numbers for RingCentral EU and UK Brands
Currently, RingCentral EU and RingCentral UK primarily offer fixed-line (landline) numbers to their customers. This feature request proposes the expansion of the offerings to include the ability for customers in the EU and UK to acquire and utilize mobile phone numbers directly through the RingCentral platform.
Proposed Solution:
RingCentral should develop the infrastructure and partnerships necessary to allow customers in the EU and UK to:
1. Acquire mobile phone numbers: Through the RingCentral portal, similar to the current process for acquiring fixed-line numbers.
2. Utilize mobile numbers for outbound and inbound calls: Seamlessly integrate mobile numbers with the existing RingCentral calling features across desktop, web, and mobile applications.
3. Potentially support SMS and MMS messaging: Explore the feasibility of offering SMS and MMS capabilities on these mobile numbers in the future.
4. Manage mobile numbers within the RingCentral admin portal: Including features for assignment, porting (where applicable), and management of associated settings.
