ms voice authentication message will start to play even the user have not answer their RingCentral phone or app
ms voice authentication message should not start to play if the user have not answer their RingCentral phone or app.
Cody reports that ms voice authentication message will start to play even the user have not answer their RingCentral phone or app
This does not happen when ms voice authentication is sent to a cell number
The issue only happens if ms voice authentication is sent to a RingCentral number
Cx logs in to Microsoft using username and password and he will use voice authentication
The ms voice authentication message will then ask you to press pound
When ms voice authentication is sent to a RingCentral number It cuts off the 4 second statement so you only hear "sign in"
I only hear sining in when voice authentication played when he send the voice authentication to my RingCentral number
- Additional details for the feature that you are requesting:
Would like to have the MFA message repeat at least twice allowing more time for users to hear the message and respond. To add to security, it would be great if it read a code out that the end users had to enter in instead of just pressing the # key.
2. What is your use case for this feature request?
We have a subset of users that prefer to use a direct dial number provided by the company. Our phone system is RingCentral and there is a delay from the time the MS MFA recording starts playing to when the end user answers the call.
3. What problem are you trying to solve, or what problems does the current functionality cause?
The MFA message recording starts playing before someone has answered the call. By the time they pick up the phone the instructions have already been played, and the MFA often fails because the user doesn’t know to press the # key.
4. How do you want the feature/product to work (proposed solution)?
Could it play twice to extend the time or force some kind of interaction prior to reading the instructions out.
5. Any screenshots or data to go along with the enhancement request:
No, unfortunately this is a voice only interaction.
