Automated Task Creation & Daily Summary from Call Transcripts
Description:
We request the ability to automatically generate actionable tasks in the RingCentral app based on the task summaries identified in call transcripts.
Use Case:
Currently, RingCentral transcribes and summarises calls, often including follow-up actions. However, converting these summaries into actual tasks within the app requires manual effort, which is time-consuming and can lead to missed follow-ups — especially on days with high call volume.
Requested Features:
Automatic Task Creation
Automatically convert identified task summaries from call transcripts into tasks within the RingCentral app.
Tasks should be linked to the corresponding call/transcript for context.
Daily Call Summary Thread
Generate a consolidated daily summary of all calls, highlighting action items and open tasks.
Ideally presented as a single thread or report accessible by the team for daily planning and review.
Benefits:
Reduces manual effort and human error.
Ensures no important follow-ups from client conversations are missed.
Enhances productivity and team collaboration.

This is a must for us! The Transcriptions and AI Tasks summary is quite good, however, we need a way to consolidate and/or create tasks that can be tracked, rather than the individual call history/transcription housing the tasks in the summary.
A daily summary with all tasks / actions would be invaluable to managing our call volume and would ensure that we don't miss any follow ups with clients.
