Bulk Call Handling Configuration for DID Number Ranges
We need the ability to configure call handling and routing for a sequential block of numbers (e.g., numbers ending in 4101 through 4111) in bulk directly from the Admin Portal.
Currently, if we want to route a specific range of DIDs that are already assigned to existing user extensions to a main company or site number, it requires tedious, manual configuration for each individual number.
Introduce a "Bulk Route by Number Range" option in the Admin Portal.
Administrators should be able to input a start and end number (e.g., xxxx-4101 to xxxx-4111).
The system should allow us to apply a custom routing rule (like forwarding to a Site IVR or Main Number) for that specific block.
Crucial Constraint: This bulk rule should act as an overlay or custom rule that does not permanently overwrite, delete, or interfere with the standard call routing configured on the existing user extensions.
For bulk numbers found in the inventory, we need an option to route the call to a company number. The option available in the admin portal for now are auto-receptionist, RingCentral Video & Audio Conferencing and Extension where we can set one by one, in every number, not in bulk.
This feature would massively reduce administrative overhead, minimize manual data entry errors during large site deployments, and provide much greater flexibility for temporary or site-wide routing changes.
