Enable Number Selection for Special Order Area Codes
Problem Statement
Currently, when a customer requests an area code that is sold out in our standard database (e.g., 770 in Morrow, GA, or 937 in Fairborn, OH), the Telco Team must place a special order directly with partner carriers. Because the partner carrier automatically assigns the available numbers to RingCentral, we are unable to provide the customer with a preview list of phone numbers to choose from. Customers are forced to accept a randomly assigned number blindly.
Use Case
Business customers frequently want to pick a "good number" for their local branches rather than settling for a random sequence. In this specific case, the customer wanted to review a list of available options for their new locations in Georgia and Ohio before committing.
