Please add the ability to display the original external caller’s name and phone number for calls placed in a Park Location.
Currently, Park Location keys—shown through Presence on desk phones or HUD in the RingCentral app—only indicate whether the park slot is busy or idle. The original caller ID is not forwarded or displayed while the call is parked. When another user retrieves the call, the Park Location identity may be displayed instead of the original caller’s information.
Requested Enhancement:
Preserve and display the original external caller ID:
- While the call is parked on a Presence or HUD key
- When the parked call is retrieved by another extension
- In both the RingCentral app and supported desk phones
Business Benefit:
Displaying the original caller ID would allow users to identify the caller before answering, prepare for the conversation, and route or prioritize parked calls more effectively.
