Require companies to have residency in order to purchase prestigious area codes in major cities.
We constantly run into issues where companies located in NYC have no new numbers available to them. This is because voip carriers are allowing companies from outside NYC to purchase all of these numbers. Area codes in prestigious locations like a major city should be reserved for companies based out of these locations. It is becoming more and more of a problem and needs to be regulated not only by Ring Central but the FCC should also be involved.
