Ability to Send Glip Messages to RingCentral Users Under Separate Business Accounts
We would like to request a feature that allows RingCentral users to send Glip messages to other users who also have RingCentral accounts but belong to different businesses, organizations, or separate RingCentral accounts. Currently, users may experience limitations when trying to communicate with other RingCentral users outside their own organization. Having this capability would make it easier for businesses to collaborate and communicate with external partners, clients, vendors, and other organizations that also use RingCentral. We recommend adding an option that allows users to search for, add, and send direct messages to RingCentral users under separate business accounts, subject to appropriate security controls and administrator permissions. This feature would improve cross-organizational communication, reduce the need to switch between different messaging platforms, and provide a more seamless collaboration experience for RingCentral customers. Expected Benefits: Enable direct messaging between RingCentral users belonging to different business accounts. Improve communication and collaboration between partner organizations, clients, and vendors. Reduce reliance on third-party messaging applications. Provide a more convenient and integrated communication experience for RingCentral users. Requested Feature: An option to enable secure cross-account Glip messaging between RingCentral users, with appropriate access controls and administrator-configurable settings.
